Synopsis:
Auggie is just a normal kid, with one big difference. He was born with facial deformities, which meant he had to undergo several surgeries from birth. Because of this, his family home-schooled him, to help him recover. Now, he doesn’t need so many surgeries. Suggesting that he might want to try mainstream school, Auggie just wants to be a normal kid. Used to the stares and comments that strangers make every day, he now has to contend with children his own age. Making friends, confronting bullies, and learning all the while, Wonder tells the story of an extraordinary little boy who constantly defies others’ expectations of him.
