Synopsis:

Chiron is a small, quiet child. As a result, he is relentlessly bullied by his peers. Finding comfort only in the mentorship of drug dealer Juan and another young boy named Kevin, Chiron’s childhood is cold and confusing.

Fast-forward to Chiron’s teenage years, and he is similarly isolated. Events conspire that follow him into adulthood, and shape his existence.

Moonlight follows the life of Chiron from child to adult, and explores how small events can ripple into later life, for better or worse.
